What is UILink? I keep seeing a button labeled UILink when I search library databases.

UILink is a database that keeps track of the UI Libraries electronic subscriptions, mostly e-journals but some e-books as well. When you see the gold UILink button in database results, click it! The resulting window will show what options you have for retrieving an article; it may also recommend similar articles.

UILink will also show up in some free databases, like Google Scholar, as a text link. To activate UILink in Google Scholar (only necessary if you are off campus), you need to go to Settings > Library links, search for Iowa, and activate UIowa.
