Yes, the library has a large collection of movies. Since our media collection is a closed collection, you will need to request a film in person or online so the staff at the Main Library Service Desk can retrieve it for you.

You can search InfoHawk+ by title to see if we own a particular DVD. To get an idea of recent feature films we've received, use Advanced Search in InfoHawk+ to search on the subject words feature films. (Use documentary films if that's what you are seeking.)

You may also request videos in advance and pick them up a half day later at the Main Library Service Desk. This is possible through the Request option in the InfoHawk+ item record, located in the Find in Library tab. You must be logged in to InfoHawk+ to do this. You will receive an e-mail in your UIowa e-mail account when the video is ready to be picked up.
