Where are classrooms in the Main Library?

Answer

Shambaugh Auditorium and instruction-only classroom 1015-A are on first floor, near the north entrance to the building.

TILE Classroom (Room 1022) is on first floor, near the Reference Collection.

TILE Classroom (Room 1140) is on first floor, north area of the Learning Commons.

Classrooms 2057 and 2058 are on second floor. Classroom 3083 is on third floor, south. Instruction-only classroom 4037 is on fourth floor, southwest.

Classrooms 1022, 1140, 2057, 2058, 3083, and Shambaugh Auditorium are reserved through Classroom Scheduling in the Office of the Registrar.

Tutoring sessions and events held in any of 24 group study areas on floor one east, south, and north within the Learning Commons. Spaces may be scheduled on Outlook using instructions given on the Commons website: http://www.lib.uiowa.edu/commons

Research and Library Instruction librarians may also arrange instruction sessions for library workshops and UI classes and those conference and training rooms only are reserved by library personnel.
