What is InfoLink? I keep seeing a button labeled InfoLink when I search library databases.

InfoLink is a database that keeps track of the UI Libraries electronic subscriptions, mostly e-journals but some e-books as well. When you see the gold InfoLink button in database results, click it! The resulting InfoLink window will show what options you have for retrieving an article; it may also recommend similar articles.

InfoLink will also show up in some free databases, like Google Scholar, as a text link. To activate InfoLink in Google Scholar (only necessary if you are off campus), you need to go to Settings > Library links, search for Iowa, and activate UIowa InfoLink:Full Text.
