Why can't I access the Goethe's Werke database?

The database is listed on your website, and I even received a "friend account" from UM where the database is housed but I am given an error message:
Library Authentication Results
Access was denied.
Your attempt to access the requested resource has failed.
We have verified that you are a valid authorized user, but our information indicates that you do not have licensed permission to access this particular resource.

Goethe's Werke database consists primarily of the Weimar Edition of Goethe's works, originally published between 1887-1919 by Hermann Böhlau (and Nachfolger) under the patronage of Grosshezogin Sophie von Sachsen and hence often referred to as the Sophien-Ausgabe. It is supplemented by material not found in the Weimar Edition. For assistance, go to the subject guide to German Literature.

From a campus computer the Geothe's Werke database seems to be working. Are you on campus? If you are off campus the non-subscription link may not work. Or the database might be a free resource provided to institutions.
