Q

Can the temperature in group rooms be adjusted by me?

I have reserved a few group rooms since the LearningCommons and found that the temperature inside them varies greatly. I see that there thermostats in each room but they don't seem to do any good. Can they actually be adjusted?

Answer

While the climate in the building is controlled centrally, individual study rooms do have thier own individual working thermostats. However, the individual thermostats depend on the central system working properly. We have had some problems with our system in the last couple weeks (September/October 2013) that have now been resolved.
