How can I attach a PDF to my reference in EndNote Desktop?

Answer

  1. Right click on a reference and select File Attachments and then Attach File.
  2. Select the file that you want to attach. By default, EndNote will copy the file to the EndNote Desktop library folder and link to this copy. This ensures that the file is always accessible. The check-box at the bottom of the page will disable this feature.
    – To open the file, right click on the reference, select File Attachments and then Open File.
