If something you need is already checked out by someone else, you have a few options built into InfoHawk+ to help you get the material you need. Sign in to InfoHawk+ to see your 'Request Options.'

You can use Interlibrary Loan (ILL) to request the material from another library. If you request a book (or other physical item), it should arrive in 5 to 10 days and you will be notified by email when the item arrives.

If you request a pdf of a single chapter, that will also be sent through Interlibrary Loan, but because it will be delivered electronically, you can expect to receive it within 24-48 hours.

You can also request that a librarian purchase a second copy for our collection. This option is typically slower than requesting it through ILL unless an e-book can be purchased quickly. Find the request option in InfoHawk+ or from My Library Recommend a Library Purchase from the library homepage.
