Q. Where can I find information on bankruptcies?
Find bankruptcy transactions using:

For bankruptcy case decisions, go to NexisUni. Use the All Sources option to search for circuit bankruptcy to find cases in a specific circuit. Note that these do not include the bankruptcy filing documents. Use Cheetah. for bankruptcy law information.
The UCLA-LoPucki Bankruptcy Research Database contains data on all of the more than one-thousand large public companies that have filed bankruptcy cases since October 1, 1979.
For bankruptcy statistics:
- American Bankruptcy Institute has monthly state and district filings back to 2012.
- Bankruptcy yearbook and almanac - available in print at Lippincott (call number HG3760 .B35)
- US Bankruptcy Court Caseload Statistics Data Tables - select bankruptcy filings under the Publication Name drop-down. Includes cases by chapter, district and county. Their data is also aggregated in Statista.
