Go to Global Financial Data (GFD). Users must authenticate with their HawkID, then log in to GFD.

Use Eikon with Datastream, available on select computers in the Business library.

UNCTADstat provides free market commodity prices and free market commodity prices indices back to 1960. Click on Data Center Commodities — Commodity price long term trends.

Take a look at USGS Commodity Statistics and Information - U.S. Geological Survey.

Also, check out USDA Economics, Statistics and Market Information System for commodity market data and outlooks.

Use Bloomberg, available on select computers in the Business Library, to plot mines and mining sites (for gold, coal, various metals, etc.) as points on a map.

  • Or, type CRR and hit the green <GO> key to rank commodity indexes.
