Where can I find stock prices?

Answer

Recent prices are available in the following resources:

  • Mergent Online - Use the Equity Pricing tab on a company record.
  • Factiva - Select Quotes under the Companies/Markets tab.

You can also use Bloomberg, available on select computers in the Business Library.

  • Type the stock's ticker symbol, hit <EQUITY>, type HP, and then hit <GO>.

For historical time series, use Eikon with Datastream, available on select computers in the Business library, or Global Financial Data (GFD) (Users must authenticate with their HawkID, then log in to GFD.)

Yahoo! Finance and Google Finance also contain some historical stock price information.

Find more historical data in the print sources Daily Stock Price Record and its predecessor ISL Daily Stock Price Index. Search InfoHawk+ by title to locate these publications under their separate exchanges (e.g., NASDAQ).  To request issues, sign in with your HawkID and password.
