Where can I get information about women in the workplace and women as business owners?

Use PitchBook* to search for female founders and entrepreneurs. Click on the People tab on the left menu to get started:
- Set Gender = Female
- Select the Founder/founding Partner button
- You can also include criteria like Locations, Firm Types, or University/Institution affiliation, like University of Iowa.

Take a look at Women's Bureau from the US Department of Labor.
Go to the Bureau of Labor Statistics' Women in the Labor Force: A Databook.
Use Bloomberg, available on select computers in the Business Library. You can find data on the percentage of women in a U.S. public company's workforce.
- Type the company's ticker symbol then hit the yellow <EQUITY> key.
- Then, type FA ESGS and hit the green <GO> key.
Data Axle (PREVIOUSLY ReferenceUSA) allows screening for female executives. Use Advanced Search filter Executive Gender.
