Where can I find transcripts of Wall Street conference calls?

Answer

From a PitchBook company profile, select the Transcripts tab. FIRST TIME USERS: please create an account using your University of Iowa email address (@uiowa.edu) and a password.

Transcripts can also be found in Factiva in the source CQ FD Disclosure. From the Search tab use the pull-down to open the Search Builder.  Enter the code rst=FNDW and combine this source with the desired company name in the title field, e.g. rst=FNDW and hd=facebook.

Nexis Uni (formerly LexisNexis) covers the same source in FD (Fair Disclosure Wire).

Use Bloomberg, available on select computers in the Business Library.

  • Type company's ticker <EQUITY> EVT <GO> to view a list of company events.
  • Use filters on left side of page to filter to Event Types: Earnings Call and under Resources, check box next to With Transcript.

FactSet, available on select computers in the Business Library or virtually, has transcripts available from the Events & Transcripts menu on the company snapshot page.

SeekingAlpha.com also publishes transcripts.  Note: for some content, users will need to create a free account.

A final source for transcripts is a company's own Investor Relations site.
