Special Collection on Third Floor

The Special Collections reading room, shared by University Archives and the International Dada Archive, is located on the third floor of the Main Library.

The Iowa Women’s Archives reading room is just down the hallway on the same floor, and maintains different open hours.

Main Library is located on the west side of Madison Street between Washington and Burlington streets on the east bank of the Iowa River in Iowa City, Iowa.

While walk-ins are welcome in both reading rooms during our open hours, we encourage visitors to register and request materials in advance using our Aeon registration system.
