Regents Institutions
Students, staff, and faculty from the three Iowa Regents universities—University of Iowa, Iowa State University, and University of Northern Iowa—have reciprocal borrowing privileges. If you're affiliated with the University of Iowa and visiting ISU or UNI, simply present your Iowa One Card at their library’s circulation desk to receive a borrowing card.

Big Ten Academic Alliance (BTAA)
Current and emeritus faculty, graduate students, and undergraduate students at Big Ten Academic Alliance institutions are eligible to borrow materials from other BTAA libraries.

To get a library card at another BTAA institution, authenticate your status using the Big Ten Academic Alliance Borrowing Tool. Then, visit the library in person and follow their instructions for receiving a borrowing card.

Participating institutions include:
University of Chicago, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Indiana University, University of Maryland, University of Michigan, Michigan State University, University of Minnesota, University of Nebraska–Lincoln, Northwestern University, Ohio State University, Pennsylvania State University, Purdue University, Rutgers University, and University of Wisconsin–Madison.
