While the climate in the building is controlled centrally, group study rooms do have their own individual working thermostats, which allows you to control the temperature within a few degrees. However, the individual thermostats depend on the central system working properly. Due to the age of the Main Library building we often have problems with our HVAC systems.

We hope a project to upgrade the building systems in the Main Library, as well as an associated complete renovation, will be in our future.
