It's easy to register for your unique ORCID identifier and it only takes a minute.
- Go to the ORCID @UI guide and click Create or Connect your ORCID.
- Login with your HawkID and grant the University of Iowa permission to read your ORCID record.
(Note: If you don't want the University of Iowa to have permission to read your record, you can still register your ORCID at https://orcid.org/.)
- Complete the pre-filled registration form and submit! You'll receive a unique identifier you can use in systems and platforms from grant application to manuscript submission and beyond, to ensure you get credit for your contributions.
