Yes! The majority of desktop computers on the 1st and 2nd floors have disc drives. 

Additionally, there is a region-free (for discs distributed outside the US and Canada, or Region 1) bluray player and VCR media station on the 1st floor near the service desk. 

If you plan on watching a film held in the collection at the main library, please reserve it on InfoHawk+ prior to your visit. Since our media collection is a closed collection, you will need to sign-in to InfoHawk+ and use the online Request option to place a hold on the item. Our staff will retrieve it and you will receive an e-mail in your UIowa account when it is ready for you to pick up at the Service Desk.
