Before you go to look for a book on the shelf, there are a few things that you want to take note of in the InfoHawk+ record first.

  1. Did the item say it was Available?
  2. Which location did InfoHawk+ list for the item?

available and location of book

Once you know that something is available and which location it is in, you can confidently go looking for it on the shelf.

However, if you are unable to find it you can initiate a search.

Just sign-in to InfoHawk+ and place a request for the book. This will send our staff to the shelf to look for it, and if they are unable to find it they will initiate a search. If found, the book will be placed on hold for you and you will receive an email when it is ready to be picked up. If it is not found, you will be notified and can place an interlibrary loan request.

If you need further assistance, contact the service desk at the owning library.
