Yes! The University of Iowa Libraries is a congressionally designated depository for U.S. Government information. Access to the government information collection is open to the public.

Our government document collections are located:

  • On the 5th floor, west side, for items organized under the SuDocs/Swank systems
  • On the 2nd floor, east side, for items organized under Library of Congress
